I still can't believe he's passed. We were football teammates freshman year and the years before at Cathedral. I was just in awe at what he could do. Sam, I am better for having you as my friend and I look forward to a time when we can get re-acquainted.

Sam died in a motorcycle accident July 15, 1979 on Market Street and 10th in LaCrosse.
